Mission Statement:
We take in needy animals that are surrendered or pulled from the shelters. We socialize & retrain them in hopes of grooming them to be well rounded very adoptable pets.
We do animal rehab/re-training on a private basis. We are NOT a non profit 501(c)!
Please Donate To Help The Animals!
If you would like to donate to help the animals please use the donate button below to make a secure transaction using any debit card, credit card or your PayPal account. You do not have to have a PayPal account to pay this way.
We average spending close to $200 PER WEEK on dog food alone. We feed over 75 pounds of dry PER DAY. That is not counting the puppy food and special needs diets we have to feed.
Our vet bills average anywhere from $600-$1200 PER MONTH. We use Boyce-Holland in Stuart VA. He is an awesome vet and without him and his wonderful staff we could not do all we do for the animals. If you would rather donate to our account at the vet you can get their info by clicking here>>>Boyce-Holland. Please let them know that it is to be applied to the account of Betty Haynes. Please send me a note letting me know what you have donated.
We spend on average $250-$300 PER MONTH on heartworm preventive for the dogs at our place. We also average about $150 a month on flea& tick preventive esp during the summer months.
Notice: We allow visitors BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! All visitors who are interested in adopting an animal or visiting with the animals must complete a pre screen application BEFORE the appointment is made to come visit. Appointments are easier for us and could save you some trouble in the long run. We are not always at home, and I would hate for someone to drive here (esp long distances) and us not be here!
Kenny was abandoned right in front of our eyes in Campton KY. To read his story please click here KENNY'S STORY!
HELP US GET OUR NON PROFIT STATUS
If you would like to help sponsor us in getting our non profit 501(c) status, feel free to make a donation. We need roughly $600.00 to make this happen. It is $75 for Va incorporation and $300 for the 501(c) status. We would need the rest for legal help with the paperwork and filing process. Going non profit would help us help more animals. It would allow us to accept larger donations, and in return we can give tax receipts to the donors.
You can donate using the donate button above. Just send a note with your donation stating that it is for the non profit status.
TRANSPORT IS AVAILABLE FOR OUR RESCUES TO THEIR NEW HOMES! We do monthly deliveries to Sussex NJ and deliver anywhere along the way! We have also added a stop in Danbury CT.
