Directions To Apply To Adopt
1- Submit the pre screen application and the $10 application fee. The pre screen application is here http://www.4-the-luv-of-a-critter.com/prescreenapplication.pdf! We will not process any application that is not accompanied by the $10.00 application fee. You can send the application fee via the donation button on the home page of this site using any debit card, credit card or PayPal account.
2- Wait for me to contact you, normally we can get the applications checked within the first 24 hrs that you send them. If you want to come meet the pet you can do so after you get confirmation that your application has been approved.
3- Once approved you will be required to pay the deposit on the pet you wish to adopt. The deposits are $25-$65.00 depending on the animal. All deposits are deducted from the total adoption fee. Please keep in mind we can not promise to hold anyone without the deposit! You can pay the deposit via the donate button on the home page of the site.
5-You can arrange to pick up your adopted pet, or we can deliver to you.
NO VISITS TO THE RESCUE ARE ALLOWED WITHOUT A PRIOR COMPLETED AND APPROVED PRE SCREEN APPLICATION!
We do deliveries once a month to Sussex NJ/Danbury CT. We can deliver anywhere along the way. Our route on the way up normally takes us via 81. We pass through MD, WV,MD PA and over in to NJ and CT. On the way down we go 95 through those states(with the exception of WV) plus DE. We are located right on the South West VA/NC border. We charge a $35-$50 delivery fee for any dog adopted from us as long as they are going on a planned transport.
We also transport for other rescues and other people on our planned monthly transports. The transport fees range from $50-$125 per animal.
During the month we can do shorter deliveries. We are willing to go within 4-6 hrs from our location. If we don't have a full load to cover our gas the person we are delivering to will be responsible for paying the gas cost in addition to any adoption fees that are due.
We are licensed and legal to do business in PA. We have a valid Out Of State Dealers License!
