These are the forever residents of "Our Critters". They will live out their life with us for one reason or another.
This is Marbles. She is a border collie/heeler mix. She came to live with us in 2002. Marbles is a very smart girl and she loves to do tricks. Marbles is very adoptable but I am very attached to her so she will stay with me. She sleeps with me every night on the foot of my bed.
This is Buddy. He is a yellow lab was was pulled from a shelter in Tn by our friends Tom and Elaine G. He was found by Ac chained and starved to death. He was so pitiful when I went to pick him up. The vet would not even do his neutering because he was so poor. I brought him home and gave him some OUR CRITTERS TLC and he was up to pare in no time. He was taken to my vet in Stuart and he was fixed. Buddy will have to live out his life with us. He really does not like many people except my family. That is ok...because I love him dearly.
This is Thelma. She was given to me by a family member of my Brother In Law's wife after her dog had an accidental litter. She is a Oorang Airedale Terrier. She is very spoiled. Thelma is very spoiled and she travels with us everywhere. Her favorite past time is playing in the mud holes and going swimming in the pond.
Bambi And Mocha:
Bambi is the blonde gal and Mocha is the red head. Both pups are about 6 months old in this picture. Bambi was surrendered by a gentlemen who needed to place her. She as the last of an accidental litter. Bambi was so small she would fit in my pocketbook when she came here. Don't let her size fool you, she really is possessed by Kujo LOL. She is a feisty little dog.
Mocha was sent her by a lady who could not afford to have her treated for the mange. She was going to be forced to have her put down. Instead she sent Mocha to me. About 7 vet trips later she is healthy and thriving. She had a bad set back and developed Rickets as well. My vet being the awesome fellow that he is fixed her right up. At Mocha's 4 month check up she got a clean bill of health. Both these little dogs are very spoiled and very loved. Their favorite past time is to snuggle up with us on the bed and watch TV. You can read more about Mocha, and see pictures of what she looked like when she came in by watching the video on the home page!

This big lazy cat is Big Tiger. He was sent here by his family in Ocala Fl. Their baby had allergies and re homing the cats ( tiger came with his brother Maks) was the only answer. Tiger is a breath of fresh air in my life. I could not ever imagine being without him. He follows me every where. He is a constant fixture on my computer desk when I am working. I love this guy dearly.

Velvet and Sasha are sisters. They have been with is since they were babies. These 2 girls are babied beyond belief. Velvet is a beautiful gray short haired kitty who is very exotic looking. She wants loving more so than Sasha and is rather free hearted with showing her affection. Sasha is a tortie shell calico. She has the typical calico cat mind set. She only wants loving when it fits her desires. She has a mean streak and a fascination with my cork board. She pulls everything off of it that I stick on it. Nothing is safe LOL. These 2 are very adoptable but my Step Son would kill me if I placed them. He is very fond of them. Not to mention my big cat Tiger would be lost without them. He loves his girls.

Scrappy is a cute little Terrier mix who was set off at my farm while I was not home. She was a tiny pup then. She was accompanied by a gray male cat we named Elvis. Scrappy was placed one time and they brought her back. She is a busy body and made her self at home carrying shoes off and being a typical puppy. Then someone else wanted to adopt her, and my husband made me call them and tell them he wanted to keep her. They were coming the same day. He said he just could not bare to let her go again. So she is our little "Terror"now.
Checkers has been here since birth. He is a border collie/heeler mix(I am guessing). He has issues with strangers so he will just live with us. He is a very devoted and loving fellow. He is very attentive and I have thought about doing agility with him. I have taught him to do all sorts of tricks. He loves to play fetch and he likes to go swimming. Oh yeah, like ALL my animals he is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations.

Oscar
Oscar is not a rescue. I wanted to include him on this page anyway. I have owned him since he was born. My friend Kris Reynolds gave him to me. Oscar has been a source of enjoyment for me for years. I nicknamed him chewbacka LOL. He looks like chewbacka off of star wars when his hair grows out. He will be 10 years old this may. This little dog is my baby and has been all his life. The picture above is of him and me. He had just got back from a grooming appointment. This was taken last year in April.
I am sad to say, my sweet Oscar passed away a few weeks ago. It saddened my heart beyond belief. I thought of Oscar as my child. Oscar died due to old age. He died in his sleep. We found him the next day looking like he was still snoozing. Oscar you will never know who much joy and love you brought to my life. I will miss you my love.
DOMINO PICTURE COMING SOON
Domino is a heeler/chow mix. She is 3 years old and has been with us since she was a baby. She is rather funny about strangers. Since she has trust issues she will live with us forever. She is a beautiful dog who loves her people.
Champ is a 13 year old Quarter horse. We have had him since he was 16 months old. He is more or less just a big pasture pet. Champ has soundness issues in one of his front legs at times. He can still be ridden lightly with no problem. Champ's favorite pass time is eating lol. He likes carrots, candy, cake anything. He is a regular "Jethro".
You can see other random pictures of our permanent animals on the Photo Album Page!
