Do you need to re home your pet? We take in surrendered dogs and cats from individuals when we have the space. We charge a modest 1 time surrender fee per animal to help off set the cost of caring for the surrendered pet. We have no way of knowing how long an animal will be with us, and we must take that in to consideration. The owner must sign a surrender form saying they are giving up all ownership of the animal. The owner must provide us with the current health records of the animal. The owner must complete the SURRENDER CONTRACT (Click here for the DOG SURRENDER FORM Click here for the CAT SURRENDER FORM) and complete the contract and give to us with the surrender fee. The surrender fees are listed below.
We request that all surrendered animals be current on vaccinations before they come here (if they are old enough to be vaccinated...pups and kittens under 8 weeks are exempt).

Vaccinations Dogs Must Have Before Coming Here
Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Parainfluenza, hepatitis, adenovirus, and Bordetella
All dogs must have a current NEGATIVE heartworm test before we will accept them in to the rescue. An annual heart worm test should be done as routine for normal yearly checkups at your vet! We won't accept any heart worm positive dogs in to the rescue without sponsorship for the heart worm treatment!
Vaccinations Cats Must Have Before Coming Here
Rabies & FVRCP (FVRCP=vaccination against Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia)
You must bring the animals to us if possible. We can pick up within a 30 mile radius free of charge, but if it is further than that you are expected to cover my cost of the gas.

Surrender Fee Is $125.00 per cat!
Surrender Fee Is $125.00 Per Dog for all breeds or mixes other than the ones listed below.
Surrender Fee is $200.00 if the dog is a breed such as a American Pit Bull Terrier OR mix there of, American Staffordshire Terrier Or mix there of, Rottweiler or mix there of, Doberman or mix there of. With these breeds or mixes we might not be able to re-home them as fast as we could other breeds or mixes due to people’s hesitance of those breeds. Some may even end up spending their whole lives with us if placement can not be found. We must take that in to consideration!
Mother Dog With A Litter Of Pups ( pups must be under 8 weeks old) $125.00 for the group!
Mother Cat With A Litter Of Kittens ( kittens must be under 8 weeks old) $125.00 for the group!
Cats must be in a carrier when they come to us if we are picking them up!
I reserve the right to change these fees at any time I see fit. I might under special circumstances waive the surrender fee if a special need is shown (or) I might discount the surrender fee if you have more than one animal you need to surrender.
We do not take in dogs that bite and are aggressive, so do not even ask!
